Description

Fear, unreliable inspiration, and a lack of empathy are the three main roadblocks in the way of a compelling performance. These roadblocks also happen to be three areas in which a Christian artist should have a unique advantage. For teens ready to take their ability to develop characters to the next level, the class will be diving into a book called Acting in Faith by GCU professor Michael Kary.  Part acting book, part devotional, Acting in Faith succinctly brings together the seemingly disparate worlds of the entertainment industry and Christianity. Students will work through these concepts paired with hands-on scene work and acting exercises.
